Ever keen to raise awareness of end of life issues, Family Tree Funerals are hosting an event and taking part in this week long national awareness-raising event; around the country events will be taking place which aim to get death, dying and bereavement to be taken more seriously on the national agenda.
On Saturday 18th May Family Tree will be hosting several local authors who have written successfully on this subject; they will read excerpts from their writings and discuss their stories and studies from 10:30-12:30.
In the afternoon we will be holding a pop-up death cafe from 2-4. Join us at 1 Middle Street on 18th May!
There will be free tea, coffee and cake on offer throughout the day and a chance to get better acquainted with these difficult but incredibly important and – strangely – enlivening subjects.
